Lakeview Inn - Willmar

The young woman at the front desk was helpful, offering great dinner options and a warm welcome. I appreciated how clean the room was, especially the bathroom and towels. The air conditioning worked well. On the downside, the bathroom vent wasn't functioning, and the room showed signs of age with worn carpeting. I found the bed a bit hard. I expected breakfast, which wasn't available, leaving me disappointed. The location was convenient, but maintenance is needed in several areas.

The owner went out of his way to make our stay pleasant.

When we discovered a missing light bulb, the night manager took one from his own office so we could use it in our lamp. Lakeview Inn is an old property but fairly well kept up. It is good value for money for someone who only wants to spend a night and not spend a fortune. It was clean and neat.

We appreciated the hotel, it was respectable and had magnificent location near Willmar, right across from Foot Lake, Also close to liquor store and the Lakeview Inn. The room was impeccably clean, it had free wi-fi: )

I can't express how disappointed I am with this place. The room was in awful shape. There was an unpleasant smell, and the bathroom floor was coming up. On top of that, the heating system was unreliable, leaving us freezing through the night. This is not acceptable for a hotel. I expected better maintenance and basic functionality .

We loved exploring the nearby museum and spending time at the park. The location was super convenient, and we enjoyed late-night chats at the cozy lobby. The comfy beds. I'd recommend it for other groups looking for great value.
